Already fully subscribed with 60 plus entries from 14 different nationalities, possibilities for the inaugural Pattaya International Catamaran Festival are looking good.

Only one week to go and the club is finishing last touches for the preparation, a new slipway to the beach has been completed and sponsors logos are being readied.

Update for cat festival

We now have

23 cats on the way from Holland

4 cats on the way from Aus

2 cats to come from Spore

2 OS people picking up cats boats here

3 cats that Gareth has brought to Thailand also being sailed by Overseas people

That’s a total of 34 overseas boats!!!

Our initial goal was to have 60 plus boats so we want to be sure to have at least 25 -30 entries from local participants.

So far the response has been great and it looks like we already have between 50 and 60 entries based on feedback at the club.

The emphasis on this regatta from the overseas that are coming as from the club  is definitely fun , good racing but fun first.
